Where Every Day is an Extraordinary Adventure
Camp Whitby, located on the Whitby School campus in Greenwich, CT, offers a unique blend of exploration, learning, and fun. With three age-specific programs—the Montessori Children’s House, the Wildcats, and the Musical Theatre Workshops—it caters to children from 18 months through grade 8, making it ideal for families with multiple-age children. The camp is also a convenient option for nearby Westchester families.
Whitby School is a co-educational 18–month through Grade 8 independent school. The school was established in 1958 by Nancy Rambusch, who founded the American Montessori Society at Whitby. In 2013, Whitby transitioned lower and middle grades to the world-renowned International Baccalaureate program (IB). Whitby is one of the few schools in the U.S. to offer both Montessori (18 months–Kindergarten) and IB (grades 1–8) as the educational foundation for the school.
